When simple machines work together, they can do incredible things! Join us to explore Hamilton’s first Waterworks with simple machines. Children will learn how simple machines like pulleys, levers, and screws were used to build and run the pump. With the help of museum staff, participants will be guided through hands-on activities themed around simple machines, including building a catapult to take home. 

Hamilton Museum of Steam & Technology is excited to present the “STEAM Saturdays” kids workshop series for children. This workshop is a staff-led and supervised event. Parents/Caregivers are welcome to stay but are not required to do so. Consent forms and emergency contact information will be required at drop-off.

Tickets are $25 per child and $9 per adult supervisor (adults may stay or drop off). Pre-registration is required. This workshop is designed for children ages 7-12 years.
