Join us for this hands-on cooking workshop and gain a deeper understanding of the daily lives of soldiers during the War of 1812. 

In partnership with The Hamilton Military Museum, this immersive event explores how military-inspired culinary traditions resulted from functionality and resourcefulness. Start by foraging in our Historic Kitchen Garden, then cook authentic dishes on Dundurn's cast iron range. Learn about the daily lives of 19th century soldiers while discovering military features on the property. Finally, enjoy sampling your creations and gain a true appreciation for the challenges and triumphs of 19th century soldiers.

$65.00 per person. Age 14+. Pre-registration required.
