Admission to Dundurn Castle is by guided tour only (approx. 1 hour in length) and includes admission to The Hamilton Military Museum. Walk-in visitors are accommodated when possible, however, tour times sell out at busy times, so purchasing tickets in advance is recommended. Please plan to arrive 10 minutes before your tour start time. The Historic Kitchen Garden is open mid-May through mid-October for self-guided tours.
Dundurn Castle and The Hamilton Military Museum are partially wheelchair accessible. Please call for more details.
Strollers and infant carriers may not be taken through Dundurn Castle on tour. There is an indoor area where strollers can be parked while on tour.

Birthday Parties at Dundurn
Celebrate your birthday at Dundurn Castle with Victorian games and pastimes, just as sisters Sophia and Minnie MacNab may have done.
- As the children explore the Castle with a costumed historical interpreter, they play a game on each floor.

Come and celebrate your birthday at Dundurn Castle by imagining what life was like for 19th century children employed in a large estate. Children will:
- Make a traditional recipe in the historic kitchen with the cook, then taste what you have made!
- Explore the Castle, trying a variety of chores that servants were responsible for in the 19th century.

During the summer months Dundurn Castle offers a Garden Party package. Package includes:
- Interactive tour of Dundurn Castle with hands-on activities.
- Multi-sensory hands-on guided garden tour.

Facilities: Use of Coach House for one hour or picnic Pavilion to have food and open gifts. Guests are responsible for providing their own food.
