Battlefield House Museum & Park National Historic Site proudly presents the award-winning Re-enactment of the Battle of Stoney Creek on June 6 and 7, 2026. Saturday's re-enactments unfold on the exact date (and ground) where the battle took place 213 years ago.

The Eagles Among Us

The Eagles Among Us sculpture, created by Indigenous artist David General, was installed in 2014 to commemorate Indigenous contributions to the War of 1812. It is dedicated to peace and reconciliation after the war.

The Re-enactment features Indigenous programming including performances and the Eagles Among Us virtual tours, offering visitors a deeper understanding of Indigenous heritage at the site.

Maps, Parking & Directions

Battlefield House Museum & Park is located at 77 King Street West, Stoney Creek, Ontario, Canada — about an hour from the U.S. border at Niagara Falls or an hour from Toronto. We are within 15 to 45 minutes of most vintners and vineyards in the Niagara Wine Region.

Parking & Shuttle

There is no parking on-site during the Re-enactment event.

Free shuttle buses run Saturday from 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM and Sunday from 10:00 AM until 5:00 PM from:

Drivers must use the off-site parking and shuttle bus to reach the Park.

Get dropped off at the entrance to the event. The most optimal routes are Route 5 Delaware and Route 44 Rymal.

Drop-off for Accessibility

Persons with disabilities may be dropped off at the lay-by at the park entrance off King Street.

Drivers must then use the off-site parking and shuttle bus to reach the Park.

What does admission cost?

Admission is FREE in recognition of all those who came before us as stewards of this land for over 10,000 years.

Are there additional costs once I enter the park?

There are additional costs for food, refreshments, and merchandise.

What time do the battles take place?

Saturday at 3:30 PM and 8:30 PM. Sunday at 2:00 PM.

How long do the Battle Re-enactments last?

From 20 minutes to half an hour.

Can I bring my dog?

Dogs are not allowed in the park during special events. The loud noises of the artillery, muskets, and fireworks are upsetting for most dogs.

Can I bring my drone?

No, drones are not permitted in Battlefield Park. Please note that police will be present and can fine individuals who break Transport Canada laws.

Should I bring a lawn chair?

A folding lawn chair is recommended. Seating is available on the grass.
