Learn about the McQuestens’ experiences navigating mental illness through the life of Margaret Edna, the youngest McQuesten daughter. 

Using archival resources, the tour will reveal some of the family’s mental health experiences, coping mechanisms, and the family support which they received. This tour will also discuss caregiver fatigue, societal stigma, how socio-economic status affects access to resources in the in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The tour will be followed by a wellness activity. Please be advised that this tour will include mature topics.
