Using archival resources, the tour will reveal some of the family’s mental health experiences, coping mechanisms, and the family support which they received. This tour will also discuss caregiver fatigue, societal stigma, how socio-economic status affects access to resources in the in the late 19th and early 20th centuries. The tour will be followed by a wellness activity in the Whitehern gardens. Please be advised that this tour will include mature topics.
Tickets are $15 per person and pre-registration required. Limited tickets available.

A Social Guide containing photographs and information about the Sensory-Friendly Morning Tour will be emailed out in advance to attendees to help them prepare for their museum visit.
The Sensory-Friendly Morning Tour takes place before the museum opens to the public, with two different start times - 10am and 11am. Pre-registration is required, limited tickets available. Please follow the "learn more" link to reserve your tickets.
